Celisse Tan
"Celisse Tan grew up immersed in Philippine music through her involvement with Haranistas de Manila, the premier Philippine indigenous percussion and Rondalla ensemble based in San Francisco, California. At age 10, she joined the group as its youngest principal musician, playing bass and kulintang.
As a Philippine instrumentalist, classically trained in piano and voice, her original compositions span from grand orchestral textures to traditional Phillipine instrumentation. While pursuing her BFA in Film Editing / Film Music at Chapman University and her MM in Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music, Celisse scored multiple award-winning short films both in the United States and internationally."
