Erica Porter

Erica Porter is a classically trained pianist, composer, and conductor.  She received an M.A. in Contemporary Composition from the University of York in England, an M.M. in Film Scoring Composition from Berklee College of Music, and was a participant in the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s Women’s Conducting Program, NYU Steinhardt’s Film Scoring Workshop, and the BMI Advertising Workshop.

During Erica’s extensive studies she scored the video game, Live by the Sword (UK) which will soon be released on Nintendo and XBOX, her pieces premiered at Carnegie Hall by the UN Chamber Music Society (NYC), were performed live by Budapest Scoring (Hungary), and she composed music for many short the films being screened in film festivals, by the  American Psychiatric Association. Her recent film, The Window Between Us, won the Industry Award in the Luma Film Festival in England. Currently, Erica works at Sparks and Shadows.
